    Jason Taylor picks Jimmy Johnson to be HOF presenter

    When Jason Taylor is inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this summer, he’ll be introduced by former head coach Jimmy Johnson. Interestingly enough, Johnson’s former boss Jerry Jones is also being inducted this year, which should be a unique experience for the former Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins coach.Taylor announced Johnson as his presenter in a video that he posted to his Twitter account. Johnson is responsible for selecting Taylor out of Akron in the third round of the 1997 NFL Draft. He coached Taylor three years before retiring in 1999.“He took a chance on an undersized defensive end and never looked back,” Taylor said. “He gave me the opportunity of a lifetime.”Taylor took that opportunity and ran with it.Playing for three teams over 15 seasons, he finished his career with 139.5 sacks, 48 forced fumbles, 29 fumble recoveries, eight interceptions and nine defensive touchdowns.
