    Chargers explain photo of tarp covering seats at StubHub Center

    The Chargers are struggling to gain popularity after moving from San Diego to Los Angeles. That much we know. They are also playing in the tiniest venue of all NFL teams without a doubt. But they haven’t taken new measures recently to cover up how few fans they have.Ahead of the Chargers’ game against the Eagles on Sunday, Philly writer Les Bowen shared a photo on Twitter of the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif., which showed tarps covering sections of seats towards the top. The photo was heavily shared on social media because it’s embarrassing for the Chargers and shows how little attendance they have. However, what the photo shows is nothing new since the start of the season.StubHub Center, which is primarily a soccer venue, has a potential capacity of 30,000. But the current capacity (with the extra seats covered) is 27,000.
