    The Los Angeles Chargers are a win and a little help away from securing an improbable playoff berth, but they might need a replacement for Melvin Gordon.In Week 16, Gordon exited the team’s victory over the New York Jets due to an ankle injury. He did not return, and his status for Week 17 against the Oakland Raiders is uncertain.Head coach Anthony Lynn said Gordon, who will see doctors on Tuesday, is wearing a boot on his left leg and may be a game-time decision, per Eric D. Williams of ESPN.“Ankles can be kind of tricky. We can keep him out all week, and he’s had enough reps where he can go out and play. He knows what he’s doing, and that’s something that we’ll look at.
