Is the 13th spot disrespectful for the Bolts? Scott Kacsmar of FootballOutsiders.com released his latest “Under-25 Talent” rankings on ESPN Insider yesterday with the Los Angeles Rams claiming the number one spot on the list.
The Chargers, however, are a tad closer to the middle of the pack. They fell seven spots to 13th this year after being ranked 6th prior to the 2017 season. Here are some notes from Kacsmar on the ranking:
On OGs Forrest Lamp and Dan Feeney:
“Injury erased guard Forrest Lamp’s rookie season, so hopefully he’ll have a good start at right guard this season while Dan Feeney remains at left guard. Lamp was considered to be the top guard prospect in the 2017 draft, so this could be a nice addition that people may be overlooking because of that rookie injury.”
On WR Mike Williams and TE Hunter Henry:
“Injury also slowed Mike WIlliams’ development at wide receiver last season. Another injury knocked out tight end Hunter Henry, who has posted some great metrics in his first two seasons. If n
