Defensive end Jared Allen, the top remaining pass rusher on the free-agent market, has agreed to sign with the defending champion Seattle Seahawks, according to Ed Werder of ESPN. His tenure with the Vikings was an anomaly -- he played all six years and earned every penny of his $72.36 million contract with Minnesota. Allen joins a Seattle defense that ranked No. 1 in the NFL in a multitude of categories in 2013. The Seahawks will team Allen with DE Michael Bennett, who re-signed with Seattle earlier in the offseason.
