SAN DIEGO -- San Diego Chargers head coach Mike McCoy seems to always have the Denver Broncos within arm's reach. That's not alluding to his stay as the Broncos' offensive coordinator, a post he held before coming to the Chargers as their head coach before last season. But it was the last game of his rookie season, an AFC divisional game loss at Denver, that he leans on. When the Chargers had a sloppy practice during this week's OTAs, McCoy aired out his team and referred to their showing in Denver as proof positive of what happens when attention to detail isn't paid enough attention.
