The mother of a high school football recruit walked out of her son’s televised announcement on Wednesday after he chose a school that was not to her liking.Four-star wide receiver Jacob Copeland was choosing between three schools: Alabama, Florida and Tennessee. His mother sitting beside him was wearing an Alabama sweatshirt and Tennessee hat. She had a 66 percent chance of being happy. Instead, Copeland chose the Gators. It’s just not that often that you see a parent so upset by a child’s decision, though we’ve seen it happen twice before to the same mom.
