Jacob Copeland is going to Florida, butnot everybody was as excited about it as he was. At first, at least.On Wednesday afternoon, Copeland would choose the Gators. But his mother, wearing an Alabama sweatshirt and a Tennessee hat, would walk out, though she came back to hug her son later, so it's not really as awkward as it sounds. When asked about it, Copeland would have a very simple (and heartfelt) response.“I don’t know exactly why she walked out … I can’t go with my mom, I want to go with my heart.”At least she would return with a hug, right? To the wideout’s credit, he’s not sweating the press at all. In fact… This feels a lot like he’s protecting his mother after the fact, but you know what? That’s fine. After all, it’s his mother. In the meantime, the Florida Gators get one heckuva recruit in Copeland. He’s No. 40 on ESPN’s Top 500.
