A former Michigan player who directed threatening tweets at Jim Harbaugh is taking responsibility for sending them.Former Michigan linebacker Elysee Mbem-Bosse apologized for sending the tweets, which references Michigan’s gun laws and a morgue, seemingly threatening Harbaugh for kicking him off the team. He was defiant, however, saying that his civil rights were being violated by “being harassed by the university police and being told I’m mentally ill without proper evaluation.” You can see the original disturbing messsages Mbem-Bosse sent here.Obviously, the former linebacker is going through a tough time, though it’s not clear what happened with regard to his civil rights. Hopefully he gets whatever help he needs going forward.
