    Michigan State football has potential for a special season

    August 31th cannot be here soon enough, a Friday night under the lights to kick off the 2018 MSU campaign.
    A lot of familiar faces return to wear the green and white yet again, a favorable schedule of matches that pose two of the Spartan’s three hardest games in East Lansing.
    An offense that showed incredible upside this year, Brian Lewerke poses a dual threat ability that has been rarely seen for an MSU quarterback.
    LJ Scott comes back for his senior season with a hopeful vengeance and ability to have an incredible season, he knows what it will take to be one of the best running backs in the nation.
    The defense has one more year under their belt, a defense that finished number two in the nation in total run defense and number seven in total defense last year. It is anchored by Joe Bachie and a defense that returns most starters.
