Colorado and Nebraska renew their rivalry on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. EST on ABC. This rivalry dates all the way back to 1898, and Lincoln Nebraska will be the sight for the renewal of the rivalry. The two teams have met 69 times in their history, and Nebraska holds a dominant winning record. These two teams were in the Big 12 Conference and some of their games where must watch tv. Overall, the rivalry is more one-sided and is based more on one teams extreme dislike of the other. Now, this isn’t to say that both teams don’t feel the same animosity towards each other, but the Nebraska Cornhuskers hold a 49-18-2 record against the Colorado Buffaloes. Nebraska has dominated this rivalry, but the reason anyone even consider this a rivalry is because of the 1980s and 90s. The late 80s and throughout the 90s, the Buffaloes made this rivalry a must see event.
