Iowa kick returner Ihmir Smith-Marsette looked to have made a disastrous decision in his handling of an Indiana kickoff, but he certainly made the best of it and produced a highlight-reel play in the process. Smith-Marsette seemed to misjudge the flight of the kick and picked it up inside his own 5-yard line, where he appeared to be cornered by Hoosiers special teamers. No worries, though, as he managed to duck the tacklers and peel up the sideline, culminating in a rather epic hurdle at the end of it. Indiana’s special teams coach probably won’t be too thrilled with how that played out, especially with Smith-Marsette seemingly buried inside the 5. Good skill from the return man, though.
