The Broncos win a close one against the Wolf Pack A rivalry filled with heartbreak and animosity. There is nothing better in college football. The showdown between Boise State and Nevada fits the bill. This one was a messy contest, but it came down to the team that executed better at the end. Let’s revisit the good, bad, and ugly moments of the 2018 contest. The Good: John Hightower The Broncos were struggling to move the ball on offense; Hightower changed that with one carry. Hightower’s 88-yard touchdown run showed off his elite speed that has NFL scouts salivating. The touchdown run was followed by a ludicrous unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, but it was impressive nonetheless. Hightower finished the game with 2 carries for 90 yards and 3 completions for 22 yards. Ty Gangi Gangi played a heck of a game, and he did it on one leg.
