    CBS Sports ranks Ohio State head coach Ryan Day as tenth best in the Big Ten

    Apparently Ohio State hired the wrong guy to replace Urban Meyer. Let me first say that I get it to some degree. Ryan Day has no head coaching experience aside from the three-game audition while Meyer was serving a suspension. But we’ve seen more than one publication rank head coaches, and all seem to be taking a wait and see approach — at best. The latest is CBS Sports. It did a ranking of Big Ten coaches heading into 2019 and not only did Day not appear in the top five, but he barely made the top ten of a league that only has fourteen teams. Guys like P.J. Fleck, Jim Harbaugh, Scott Frost, and Jeff Brohm are all ranked ahead of the new man on the Banks of the Olentangy. Here’s what Tom Fornelli had to say about Day: “Day steps into an interesting situation.
