Georgia football team pays visit to Camp Sunshine

The Georgia football team paid a visit to Camp Sunshine Tuesday in Rutledge, playing games with children, eating hot dogs from the Varsity and participating in various activities. During the visit, Jake Fromm, D’Andre Swift, Tyler Simmons and a number of players met with campers, singing songs and bringing joy into their world. The camp is a place for children with cancer to go annually and experience fun-filled activity including the team visit for a couple hours. Though Coach Kirby Smart took over in 2016, the annual trip dates back many years into Mark Richt’s days in Athens, becoming an important part of the Georgia football experience.
