While the Maryland Terrapins offense looked dominant in a 79-0 victory over Howard in Week 1, few expected the offensive fireworks to continue against tougher competition. Instead, the Terrapins are dismantling Syracuse’s defense, and running back Javon Leake added to the blowout with a sensational 64-yard touchdown run to begin the second half on Saturday. After making a defender miss, the junior running back turned on the jets and sprinted for the huge touchdown run. Maryland’s offense looks unstoppable this season, with 128 points scored in less than two games. An offense that came into the season without enough recognition is quickly earning it.
