Alabama head football coach Nick Saban is not one to mince words. Anyone who has caught his press conferences knows this full well. The championship-winning head coach spoke to the media on Wednesday about five-star freshman recruit Antonio Alfano. He did not hold back. The No. 5 overall recruit in the class of 2019, Alfano has not appeared in a game with the Crimson Tide this season. He was also suspended for Alabama’s Sept. 7 outing against New Mexico State. This comes on the heels of Saban briefly discussing the freshman last week, via AL.com: “He’s kind of disappeared a little bit. I talked to our team today about the fact that people make mistakes. We all mistakes. I make mistakes. Probably everybody in this room makes mistakes. We make mistakes as parents. We make mistakes as coaches.
