As many of us waited to see USC host Utah Friday night, the game between Florida International and Louisiana Tech took a wild turn. Bulldogs quarterback J’Mar Smith threw a pass that bounced off one defensive lineman’s foot, and then Panthers defensive lineman David Reynolds dove for the ball and came up with the wild interception. Smith was apparently just trying to throw the ball away on a busted play. But he had the worst luck on that toss to the ground, which was kicked up perfectly for the huge turnover.
