Los Angeles Dodgers manager had good news today. He said that would join the starting rotation after one more tune-up at Triple-A Oklahoma before being recalled, reports Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times. It was a wonderful lift for a rotation needing effective starters. Needless to say a few eyebrows were raised when the right-hander was for a fresh face. However, Roberts explained that they wanted to build Sheehan up to at least five innings before returning to the Dodgers. He hurled six perfect innings, including 13 strikeouts and 21 whiffs. Wherever the Dodgers put him, Sheehan and his stuff shine, and he is forcing Los Angeles's hand. Trying to Round Into Form Another starter is left-hander . He pitched in his second rehab start last night after recovering from a shoulder issue. It wasn't as successful as his first. Ideally, he was supposed to go four innings but didn't get through three. The left-hander gave up five runs on seven hits. Roberts said his stuff "was fine, but he wasn't efficient enough." It doesn't sound like the Dodgers are too concerned, but now Glasnow will have four rehab starts instead of three. Everybody's Getting Healthy , , is now well enough now to play center field. The Dodgers were playing Edman solely at second base. This only adds to the versatility of an already lethal lineup, and more playing time for , who has a batting average of over .350.
