I think the Saints are going with Winston as their starter. He did well before he got hurt.
I think they'll make sure he's protected (LT) and get him a weapon opposite Michael Thomas.

Would you make that trade at the beginning of round 3?

If Ken Walker is there at the top of Second round or at pick 32 I wouldn't shed a tear if we gave up next years first for him.

    Agree.

Late first, early 2nd round draft picks.

Everyone else is 3rd round or later: i'm guessing the run on running backs begins in or near (comp picks) round 4.

There will be more that 16 good players in the draft this year. Stay put and take a solid player at 17. Do not gamble a solid player away at the hopes of a better one falling to the end of the round.

Something has (almost like a virus) taken over the fan base and getting that second round pick back or at least an extra third has become a very strange obsession. Me I see more value in staying put at #17 and I’m aware of the history, doesn’t mean it won’t happen but history says otherwise…
Is this the equation you are working from Fouts2Herbert?

A Telesco first round (20s) draft pick plus a 3rd round draft pick equals zero
