I’m intrigued with auto pick for Cowboys when was unable to make the selection, Derrick Barnes Purdue. Anybody familiar with him?

looked over his profile and looks very appealing. Short, only 6’ and change but did 29 reps with 33 3/8” arm length, over 81” wingspan, 37” vertical. Might be a real niche player and valuable depth/special teams guy. Not who I would have selected but more satisfied than first imagined.

From what big board are the auto picks generated?

I made the pick. It was autopick plus peek at your depth chart. There is a perceived need at Off LOS depth behind LVE and Jaylon. This guy pops on tape with his seek and destroy tackling, plus he can rush the passer. You would enjoy highlight vids.

Looking at your sig....,. SF traded up to #3 for a QB and as the GM in this mock, not only did you not draft a QB, you traded back again and traded for Mariota?

so I didn’t like the trade up to 3 so I was looking for a way to “un-do” it, and ironically I was also assigned the Eagles who happened to have the 12th pick (originally the 9ers) and figured the Eagles could spare some draft capitol to trade up for Fields or Wilson, especially since they just got a first from Miami for trading from 6 to 12 and another conditional 1st for Wentz
When you think about it, it is a fair trade for both teams, well at least imho.
As the 9ers GM (Lynch) I only decided to pursue a tradedown after I successfully traded my third for Mariota, I genuinely think he can beat Jimmy G in an open competition and lead the 9ers to a superbowl.
If I weren’t able to secure a viable QB, I would have sat there at 3 and picked a QB.

Eagles’ tackles situation is pretty bad so I got a mobile rookie qb athletic young tackles that can open up qb runs and help extend plays

I know there are a few here that really like him but imo 102 is too high for him. You picked him for the Raiders?

But the biggest reach in this draft that I saw was Fileipe Franks in round 4.

The higher ranked WR's were all right around 6 feet tall. I was hoping Nico would fall but Da Bears took care of that. As I said, Fehoko is 6-4 and a nightmare for those 5 - 10 CB's and 6 foot Safeties. The kid can be an absolute monster as Carr is good enough to deliver a high point throw for him to go get. He is the kind of kid that can feast on the 50/50's. I have actually mocked him a bunch to us in the 4th, but have noticed recently that he has been gone in about 50% of those mocks. I did the smart GM play and grabbed the guy I liked at 102 rather than sweat it to 121.

I think he is more a 5th rounder, maybe late 4th but we'll see. Maybe I am wrong,.... but I think some pundits have him even a 6th. Little low imo.

I don't think he would be a starter in LV. ...or on our team.
Don't see him beating out Tyron Johnson but he has value as a development WR and STs player so not bashing him at all.
Tape I've seen of him he isn't a high point type of catcher as many passes were long throws to him but I haven't seen every tape either.
Tyrell Williams wasn't a high point catcher either at 6'4"
