Is it just me or are this year’s prospects not nearly as exciting as last year’s??

Zion Johnson might be the best IOL in this class.
Flawless technique, powerful frame, amazing grip strength, deep anchor, accurate punch, COD agility, drive strength, and athleticism to strike/dominate 2nd/3rd level defenders.

100% agree. But I think Ekwonu has the higher ceiling. It’s hard to tell since NCST plays him at OT. The raw power of that cat is tremendous.

I’m really digging RB Zach Charbonnet UCLA transfer from Michigan. Physical, down hill, north and south, violent style reminds me of all day Peterson. Would be a great addition to Chargers backfield. Had one target and showed nice hands, natural mover, ascending talent.

Think your boy Charbonnet is pumping his stock. 251total yards vs. Stanford today. Kid’s the real deal. Only averaging 10.5 ypc and has 6 TDs so far.

He is exactly what the Chargers need, a red zone threat you feed the ball and score. He would open up the passing options as well, teams would load the box to stop him. I’m afraid if he checks off all the boxes, curious to see his RAS scores, could work himself from relative unknown sleeper to fringe first round, project top 50, which would fit Charger window.

True. But he’s also gonna be one of those G/T tweeners like AVT. If he grades out as a OT, then fine. But I think we should look to a pure OT prospect. We already have Jaimes for IOL depth.

But we need more depth too.

I’ll also add Sean Rhyan as a candidate who might be the best OG in the class. But like Ekwonu, you can’t really tell cuz he’s playing OT.

This is a very good/deep class.

I dont know if there's a generational prospect in this class.

Yeah I guess it’s solid. Loaded with CB and OL, which is good for us. Not a lot of flashy players otherwise.
The QBs suck.
Top heavy edge players.
RBs and LBs are meh.
WRs worse than the last 2 years.
At least the TE class is better than last year.

Dulcich, Otton, Kolar and McBride are some decent 3-4 round options. Maybe Isaiah Likely, too.

We should have waited a year to get a TE.

I have several TEs on my tracking board that aren’t common/known names.

Cole Turner (UNR), Lucas Krull (PITT/FSU), Teagan Quitoriano (ORST) are a few of those favs

I think I like McBride and Dulcich better than Otton. Would be happy with either in R3-4. I’ll check out those other guys.
