He was a late round prospect for me.
There were a couple of people who thought he was like a round 3/4 talent after his SeniorBowl but then again my memory is shit without reference material most of the time.

I liked Herbert quite a bit.
Also liked: Kenneth Gainwell, Chuba Hubbard, and Elijah Mitchell.
To a lesser degree: Kylin Hill, Chris Evans, Jermar Jefferson, and Trey Ragas.

Christian Darrisaw with another very impressive showing. Proving the haters wrong.

He’s been about what I expected—not as good as Slater or Sewell, but a good solid starter and worthy of a 1st round pick.

I am glad we drafted Slater over Darrisaw, however Darrisaw performs initially. That was our decision--Slater vs Darrisaw.

My final assessment was that Darrisaw was OT3, behind Sewell and Slater. Don’t think anyone on this board had Darrisaw over Slater or Sewell.

Your criticism of Darrisaw was mild compared to the vitriol some posters spewed. I will say, however, that he has a long way to go before cementing that OT3 designation for the 2021 class, but his play indicates a strong possibility. Needs to prove he can stay healthy over a 17 game season first.

Im just glad to have a LT.

I said he would struggle along with Lance. But i called Lance a bust. Still could be as he hasnt looked good. Wilson hasnt either and im not surprised.

I’ll also say “I told you so” in that we should have drafted a DT.

Some of you said things like “what, giving up on Tillery already?” Tillery is a situational pass rusher that should never play on running situations. That was made clear when Saints’ OG, Nick Easton (who still hasn’t been claimed off waivers) consistently blocked Tillery off the screen on run plays last year.

I liked several players in the late-rounds, including Khyris Tonga, who we could have had in the 7th, and is now a starter for the Bears.

I think we draft at least 2 DTs in this years draft.
