That said I think if there's a definite day 1 starter regardless of position anywhere on the o-line the Chargers really should consider. Forget basic QB protection and trying to get to establish a mediocre/average running attack. We need to build a dominate o-line that pushes and bullies defenses around.

I actually like a lot of options at 17, but I am stumping for this kid as an interesting, alternate direction for us to go with our first pick...and a viable one, IMO.Lone Bolt's Final Mock

Watch some tape on this kid, and you will fall in love with his tenacity...he is a hunter, always looking to punish somebody.

"Kenyon Green is a former 5-star recruit out of the state of Texas. Green became an immediate starter for the Aggies and has notched more than 35 starts in his three-year career. Green is an experienced starter that has played multiple positions along the offensive line...every position but center. Green has natural functional strength that he uses to become a true road grader in the run game. Offensive coordinators will find it beneficial to call run plays that follow behind Green's path. As a pass protector, Green possesses quickness that he uses to mirror defenders and become a dominant interior pass protector. Green is a versatile offensive lineman that has amassed a ton of experience throughout his career. Green has the athleticism and physical temperament to become an instant starter and a future All-Pro offensive lineman.
Ideal Role: Green can play both guard positions and RT"

To be honest, I like a lot of different options at 17...the edge class alone is crazy good...Im just stumping for this kid as an alternate, interesting, and viable option for us in the first. My mindset could likely change after our additions and losses in free agency. But for now, I think Green is worth consideration.Lone Bolt's Final Mock
