this should be an interesting draft...... we have several needs and its going to be about who drops to us.....

several recent(today) mocks by media members have LB Devin Lloyd going to Chargers at 17...... he looks like a great all round coverage and pass rushing LBer, but I hadn't been thinking of LB, over positions like: OT, DT, CB, Edge, speed WR..... do the media have insider info that leads to that change?

We heed a rotation at DT. Davis would be the #1 NT. He's a roster upgrade.
Sorta like Olave. We have WRs, he'd be the top deep threat.
They fit.

Saying that a rookie that played so few snaps a game in college is immediately #1 over 2 of the better graded run stuffing DT's in the NFL is pretty funny. And I'm not an Olave fan either, his lack of YAC makes me yack. :shrug:

maybe.... that cluster may be most likely, but there are some issues that could cause some great players to drop to our range:

Jameson Willams - best WR but injury risk is there
Stingley - injury
Devon Wyatt - best overall DT in draft but character issues which probably rule him out with Chargers
Evan Neal - OT - best pass blocking OT saw somewhere there are injury concerns
Thibodaeux - great Edge player with attitude concerns
