If they are in the top 6, they need to trade back. 1 player like Bowers isn’t enough to fix this shit show. Especially when you have other TEs like Cade Stover and Jaheim Bell later in the draft. And I think they should draft both of them because of their different skill sets. Also try sign TE Harrison Bryant. Trade as many big contracts as you can. I don’t care if they are for mid round picks, they need draft capital and money.

I truly believe they can and will always be in games and compete next year even with the massive turn over that needs to happen. Herbert will always give them a chance. But they need a true bonafide leader as a HC that has a killer instinct, can hire great coaches, attract players, draft players and put players in the best position to succeed.

for some reason, am thinking we end up 9 overall.... these are my top eight,

        QB Caleb Williams, Drake Maye
        WR Marvin Harrison, Rome Odunze
        TE Brock Bowers
        OT Joe Alt, Olumuyiwa Fashanu
        ED Laiatu Latu

think the next group includes some of these names.... (I like several of the Dline guys)

        WR Keon Coleman, Malik Nabers
        RT Taliese Fuaga, JC Latham
        DT Jer'Zhan Newton
        DE JT Tuimoloau
ED Jared Verse, Bralen Trice, Dallas Turner, Chop Robinson

Right now on Tankathon we are at #5 draft pick. This will change by Sunday but with our current flame out I'm thinking 5 or 6 position. With that we can move up to take Harrison or trade out for some QB hungry team.

I'm am kinda counting on trades of Bosa and MW but that's never a gimme.
Now we will have a new GM to review those contracts and we really have no idea how the new GM sees things.
We will continue to draft who we feel but it's anyone's guess with a new GM and HC. No telling who stays and who goes, though I think we may have a clue.
Bosa imo has to go. Contract/injuries. Get something while we can.

Harrison Bryant....he has done very little. Not sure why you want him so bad! And he is still only 230lbs.

I'm really surprised no one is talking about drafting Malik Nabers. Talk about a replacement for Mike Williams...wow...good hands with speed and the ability to fake out DBs. This is stuff you either have or you don't have.

Well I don't memtion him because I don't think we are going WR in round 1.

Right now i see TE, Edge, DT, CB. Maybe RT but not really seeing that either.

This guy is the real replacement for Mike or KA. QJ is like some over drafted prospect. If you had a shot at Jamar Chase would you pull the plug. Brock Bowers is not a top ten pick compared to this guy.

Maybe but im not basing his career from his rookie season. Seen too many start slow and be better every season.

We will have so many holes I just don't think we can go WR. One of Keenan and MW is staying, likely Keenan. Palmer imo is pretty good, QJ will get better.

Name another position we have three good players at? We don't even have 3 good OL out of the 5 across the line out of the three positions.

Would love to be able to go BPA regardless and in the top 10, they are all close and the QBs will be the over rated ones. If i'm going WR in top 10 it's for MHJ, otherwise going elsewhere. Or even trade down.

Bowers I've seen top 5 many times. 5 to 8. Nabers i seen 5 to 11, mostly near 11...which is spliting hairs. TE is a weapon position. WR we can get later as we don't need a starter. I do think Nabors is a real good player and if we went WR....which i dont see,..... id pick him over Odunze.

We'll see how things shake out later though. Nothing is set till we have cuts and trades and if we sign anyone in FA.

remember that about a third or so of the first rounders don't pan out so much.... these are the handful or so of guys that seem a bit on the risky side in the top 20 round one:

                          Drake Maye
                          Brock Bowers
