I am with you - that point chart doesn't mean a thing for the 5th pick in the draft

Now in the second round, the Chargers pick is worth 70 more than that Raiders - so the Raiders offer their 4th and 7th and that total - per the chart 70.6 - -thats fine as a guideline for the 2nd round on

But for the 5th pick - has to include a 2nd rounder -- and still only dropping no lower than 11

I think the Jets are a good trade partner to target as they desperately need a stout LT and 10 is a good spot for us as we can get good value but more options like CB and Edge that would be a reach at 5.
      Go Rivers!

I'm sure there will be interest in the #5 pick. Some will be giddy with one of the WRs, one of the QBs will drop, or someone will fall in love with one of the tackles. As much as I like Bowers I just can't see a team wanting to trade up for him unless he blows the doors off at the combine which is a possibility.
Time to put my money where my mouth is: Hampton will be better than Jeanty!

IF Bowers is our target, before we make a trade we will ask them who their target is. Thats the norm. If they say Bowers, then we wont make the trade.

Thats IF Bowers is our target. Then they will know they can accept the offer. That would go for whoever the target is. Hec if we can trade down to 10 and still egt him, land a couple picks thats great. And if we land a couple picks from trades we are doing well.

Jets do not have a second round pick; neither do the Bears or Broncos. Not that the Chargers would trade down with the Broncos.

I think the Jets can get OT with the 10th pick - and you are right, they need OT big time. I think there really is only one team I feel comfortable trading with, and thats Atlanta. Well the Giants or Titans too.

            Vikings are too far away

T'Vondre Sweat refusing to weigh in and speculation that he is 360 pounds plus is concerning to me. How many big fatties have really made an impact on the DL? And I recognize his power, it’s his stamina and movement skills that are concerning.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
              Let’s win one for Mack.

"My" perfect scenario is they trade back to 8ish and pick up extra 2 and 3rd and still draft Bowers. In the 2nd draft Jackson Powers C and Tyler Nubin S, In the 3rd draft Kris Jenkins DT and Braelon Allen. Something like that would be a great 3 rnd, IMHO.

They have but didnt last long. I know some will say Jamal was around 350 but when we drafted him he was 305 and then later we switched to a 3-4 so he gained weight. He didnt come in a lard ass. Also didnt the Ravens draft the Alabama DT that was 360 a while back? He dint last long either. Forget his name...Cody or something.

Anyways, i like his game but the weight is an issue. Ben Herbert could have him right ....IF he is a worker but if he ballooned to 380.....?

am fairly certain the top 3 tackles will be off the board by pick 10, albeit not sure the Jets need to trade down as both Tennessee & Chicago need LTs.... the Jets need a RT so they can slide Tippmann and Vera Tucker over into the IOL.

and if Justin Fields goes to Atlanta as expected, doubtful they are trading up for anyone, and Giants don't need to trade up for a wideout, and Tenn doesn't need to trade up for a LT.

TE Jelani Woods, LB Isaiah Simmons, TE Cade Otton, RB Kyren Williams, P Matt Araiza

got a feelin' that we're going D, as really like Fuaga for us, and.... not gonna be surprised if Harbaugh gets his RB, OC & TE in FA, and goes front 6/7 heavy in the draft.... Byron Murphy, T'Vondre Sweat, and an LB ??

if we get a second for Bosa, possibly we go fishin' @the OC day two, and if we get a third for MW, then guessin' that turns into an RB as well ?? otherwise wouldn't be surprised by something along the lines of Saquon, Connor Williams and a Hunter Henry in FA ??

and re: drafting the DL instead of the RT.... guessin' Jim might be content to work w/what he's got for now on the Oline, save for a new OC, 'long as he's got himself a shiny new toy @RB ??

Yeah, that Baltimore NT pick was wasted. I remember the NT running without a shirt, that was ugly. And Jamal was not a fat ass, he was big but heavily muscled.

Mount Cody and Fluker busts. Jerrod Clark I’m guessing did nothing last season. Those 330 plus pounders rarely work out.
The main reason I’m skeptical of Sweat at 37.
