One contract already restructured saving us about $10M. Much more to come.
    True. Lots to come.
I believe our SB journey started when Spanos fired TT and Staley.
Harbaugh, Hortiz and a boatload of new assistants were the next step, not the last.

Two years are for wannabes. We ain't them.
Pissing away another year of Herbert's career isn't on the agenda.
That's not to say that we won't try to improve every year. We will.
There'll be turnovers every year as Harbaugh competes for a SB in 2024 and on.
I just looked at the current 49 player roster, and assuming Linsley retires, thats 48. Of that 48, found under 25 that I think for sure will be back. Others of course will be back in that group. But who is to say Hortiz doesn't like his UDFAs better than the ones Telesco had. Players like Parham, Rumph, Morgan Fox, Spiller, JT Woods, Jaimes, none of them are locks to be back.

Now this list doesn't include players like Ekeler, Murray, Gilman, Davis and Everett - but if more than 2 of those 5 are back, will be surprised

And I never said this year was pissing anything away. My opinion, going to need two draft classes to be ready to compete for divisions and Super Bowls. I am thinking roster turnover of 25 will be on the low side. And quite frankly, the team needs it. 5-12, 5th pick in the draft - churn it and improve it.

Also an opinion... Joe Alt is the best OT in the draft. Prove me wrong.

                Pundits are using new terminology.
                It's simpler, for TPB Knucklewalkers.

A "Thursday Guy" is a Round 1 prospect.
                "Friday" Round 2 or 3.

A "Saturday Guy" is for the rest of the scrubs.
Unfortunately, we are all "Saturday Guys."
                We play modern Harball.

why thats not easier at all. 1, 2, 3 is as simple as it gets. Days, colors, animal designators, archeological references, zodiac signs ... none of these are as simple as 1, 2, 3. 4 yr olds know 1, 2, 3, which means most of us do too.

wu is doing the ol hand wiggle shiny ball scam on us again to distract us and gain advantage.
it won't work ... not with this crafty crew:

We need a C, RB, CB for sure among 8 or 9 from draft. I don't see a lot of FA deals, trades, UDFAs. Some, yes.
Can we compete at a high level ? IMO Yes.

I strongly doubt that Harbaugh, Hortiz view 2024 as anything less than competing for a Championship.
I actually believe they know what they're doing and it is not simply building back better.

We'll see! Looking forward very much to our 2024 reality.

My confidence rests largely on Harbaugh & Co getting a lot more from existing players. I struggle with the concept that Staley, Moore & co
were as good of coaches and trainers as the new regime.

If we don't get Alt, and if we trade down, Fuaga would be a very nice consolation prize...as long as we ALSO get JPJ in round 2...
