I don’t think Pip’s issues can be improved with coaching at this point, but I guess we’ll see.

The Chiefs are a Lamar-led Ravens team's kryptonite.
So you putting that on a 2 time MVP come on man. You can’t tell me that Ravens team wouldn’t have been Better if they had Jamar Chase or Tee Higgins they had Odell Beckham on one knee. They’d be a lot better with Keenan Allen.

I'm not hoping, I already know...that's what Harbaugh does and he's done it everywhere he went, he didn't revamp the rosters overnight everywhere he went, part of his early success is just simply getting more out of the players that are already in place...I don't feel I'm making any kind of outlandish statement or claim, his track record proves that shit time and time again everywhere he's coached...

Prefer they bring in a FA vet C. Let's face it when our C went down the whole oline went to shit.
Time to put my money where my mouth is: Hampton will be better than Jeanty!

You don't get to tell me that I don't appreciate the trenches, year in year out I've been getting ridiculed on here for saying we needed to invest first and second day caliber draft capital to build a wall in front of our QB...

I do agree with you and also believe they'll need to upgrade the position perhaps as soon as the 2025 draft, but I also don't agree with you in thinking that Salyer is the answer at RT...
If you think I'm "making your case for you" then maybe I haven't been clear enough... the OL (and OT) positions are the key to our whole team being better. There is not a more important group out there... for our team... for any team. All great teams have great OL's. If there is a weak link in the OL... then the whole OL is only as good as their weakest link. I've been saying this for years. IMO, Trey has maxed out. He's below-average to mediocre. Will better OL coaching fix this...? Maybe a little. But there are balance and foot-speed issues that even Duke Manyweather has been unable to fix. Harbaugh and Hortiz are watching tape right now. I hope they are watching 2022's tape. I hope they notice that Salyer (drafted as a guard) did a very nice job at LT (in Slater's absense). I hope they notice that the Chargers started rolling help Pipkins way once Salyer proved he could hold his own at LT. Maybe Harbaugh/Hortiz/Roman feel Salyer can be a good RT and they decide to go after a RG in the draft... it would cost them less draft capital for sure. I hope they watch Pipkins v Crosby or Pipkins v Karlaftis/Danna and realize just how vulnerable Pipkins (and Herbie) are. If they think that a mediocre RT is what they want to run their offense through... then by all means, keep Pipkins @RT.

I will say this the 49ers had problems with Anthony Davis and Mike Lupati. They were high drafted lineman. If I remember correctly Mike Singletary doubled down and drafted Trenches Trenches.

We did that with Slater and Johnson.

Harbaugh came in coached those guys up. Bought a staff in and they were pro bowlers.

He can very well do the same thing with Hardwicke here.

We have a unit in tact. Johnson Pimkins and Slater.

I really think Zion Johnson needs to move to Center And he can do that. I think Hardwicke will help him doing that.

I think we need to draft Minter and then we’ll be fine.

I think sometimes yall miss the point. Adding a weapon like A Nables Oudunzie and Bowers would help alot.

Y’all didn’t see Allen take a slight dip in production last season but it did happen. And I don’t want to look on that other side of the tunnel with Allen retired and depending on Quentin Johnston who’s had well documented drop issues. Chase had drop issues in preseason and then was an all pro. Johnstons were with him all season.

Palmer is great but he’s a number 2 not a number 1. Herbert needs a number 1 option.

And reguardless what anybody wants to get on here and say all the elites have it in Football

Mahomes Kelce and he will have Rice

                    Allen Diggs Davis

                    Burrow Chase

                    right there.

So we need to get one of these guys. Allen is coming back but we are trying to win multiple super bowls. I want to win multiple super bowls.

A lot of the reasons Herbert was getting sacked was because guys weren’t beating corners in coverage and winning routes.

We need guys that win routes. It’s simple as that. Getting any of these guys helps Kennan.

Then you get a guy like Will Shipley in middle rounds who’s gonna be great with this unit.

BUT they have mahomes and Kelsey..... great TE's have more impact to an offense than great WR's..... they can block, catch and run and they are the first to get open....if there is a great pass rush that saves a QB..... they are a great QB's best friend..... Chargers have zero great TE's on roster..... Everett is a good number 2 TE.... and he has availability issues...... adding an elite TE like Bowers would improve every phase of the offense: blocking, running, and receiving.....along wiith adding Harbaugh type of toughness.....

Cheifs got ball off so quick it protected their iffy OT's..... and of course Reid always has a series of plays reserved for last drive of the haklf and game when they really need to score......and they always make it look easy.... even if they struggled at other times during game.....

Hopefully Chargers add some picks by trading most of our expensive guys and we can sign some mid range FA's at RT, C, RB, DT, S, CB too help whilerookies deverlop.... so Chargers casn select the best impact player at 5...... if this team improves, we will never be drafting top 5 again so we need to take advantage and draft an ELITE player that will bwe here for years...

BALT and NE have done alot of trade downs, but that s because they always pick at bottom of first round where most first round sure fire talents are gone..... the rest are still potentially good players but much more iffy......so trading down imprpves chances fo finding a great player. nif you are picking late in first round....
Then how come the #1 TE only caught 2 receptions for 4 yards in the SB...?
The Chiefs have a great QB/TE connection... but it's not the only reason they win.
Take Mahommes and Reid out of that scenario... and that team is not very good.
Don't forget, their defense was the #2 scoring defense... they held the #2, #3, and #4 offenses to 7, 10, and 19 points respectively in the playoffs.
