LSU defensive tackle Mekhi Wingo isn't a consensus top-100 pick but his 10-yard split (1.64s) is going to be hard to ignore for some teams.

for a pass rusher, his pressure rate, is the defining metric for some analysts.... Wingo's metrics would suggest he has some explosion to his game (where's Wa!do ?)

Kris Jenkins registered a 30-inch vertical here at 299 pounds. About 4 inches short of Michigan’s claim.

Braden Fiske with a 98th percentile broad jump and 92nd percentile vertical jump for defensive tackles since 2000.

A good start to the NFL combine for the top-100 prospect.

Wingo will have scouts looking back at his game tapes.

I don't really care about his 40 time but Branden Fiske, he was very quick in all his drills. Quick feet, fast get off. Very short arms at 31" but I like his agility a lot. Would love to draft him.
Don't think the arms are as big as deal as they are for Edge rushers.

Wingo has a chance to be a much less expensive Morgan Fox on his rookie deal.

He can play. That's most important to me. He made an impact in each game I saw Florida State last season. I believe he was rated as a sixth-round talent when I first looked him up. I couldn't understand why.
