But 3 of 5 of Harbaugh's OL with the 49ers did. Rams had 3 OL that went in the 2nd round. Some will say they won the SB with solid defense. Andrew Whitworth is a very good comp for Joe Alt. The Rams took a big step backwards when Whitworth retired. How many 1st round WR's did the Rams have...?Originally posted by Velo View Post
And none of those three went in the first round, the moral of the story being their value is more 2nd/3rd round. I don't think the Rams had any 1st round OL with the team they won the SB with. I have no problem drafting Slater where Telesco took him in 2021. He was the best player available at that spot. But I don't think Alt is the best player available at #5.Protect the QB
Run the ball
Play great defense

He really isnt, and if you are not a franchise in serious need of a left tackle I dont there is a justification to draft Alt at 5. I was happy to hear Hortiz talking about BPA and saying he doesnt draft by position. Nabers and Odunze are bigger talents than Alt.Originally posted by Velo View Post

I still love Bowers and he is a baller who I would love on the Chargers, but I have started to accept that 5 doesnt really fit into the positional value chart for salary cap.

I think we should target Wright all the way! Benson had a serious knee injury so I just don't know if he makes sense in the 2nd or 3rd round with the idea to make him our #1!Originally posted by Boltjolt View Post
I figured them to be the 2 fastest. Wright Got a slow get off. Estime is the surprise for me. Two 4.72s.
Would love to get Benson or Wright in the draft.
Bucky only weighs in at 192 lbs.
Brealon Allen would have to run in the 4.5 to 4.6 range at his pro day to consider!

PFF has him projected as a 5th rnd pick. No doubt his stock will rise with that 40 time. He played his senior season at Louisville, where he racked up 810 yds on 132 carries for a 6.1 ypc average and 11 rushing TDs. He had 22 receptions for 234 yds and no receiving TDs. Prior to Louisville he was a backup RB at Wisconsin, where in 2022 he had 64 carries for 385 yds (6.0 ypc) and 5 rushing TDs, and 17 receptions for 115 yds and 1 receiving TD. He'll be 24 in June and was in college for 5 seasons, but he only had 231 college carries. He's got that big body, and he wasn't beat to hell in college.Originally posted by CanadianBoltFan View PostPerspective on Isaac Guerendo's 40-yard dash
Running 4.33 at 6-foot and 221 pounds is flat-out bonkers. If that time stands, he'll be the first RB in officially/verified recorded combine history -- starting in 1999 -- who ran 4.33 or better at 220-plus pounds. Man is a train.

Running Back notes...
Braelon Allen is too damn tall...cant help it, it bothers me...to me, he is a FB/H-back...and keeps dropping the ball in drills.
Marshawn Lloyd is killing it...and I had no idea he was that big...and looks twitchy in the drills. On my wish list.
Corum looks like the real deal in every move he makes...dont care about his size...though I would prefer him on a committee, vs 25 plus touches a game.
Estime...a little disappointed, but not shocked, at the 40 time...still see him as a great fit, though...the tape and production are all there.
Trey Benson back in my good graces...Ray Davis looks compact and agile...and I see what everyone is ga ga about over Jaylon Wright...getting there myself...
Anybody notice the little white guy from UNH? Dylan Laube? Very quick feet, cuts well, accelerates like crazy...looks like a gadget guy...or maybe a Welker like slot guy...but a lot of twitch in his game.2025 Adopted Bolt- Jamaree Caldwell
Tyler Booker G, Josaiah Stewart Edge, Cam Skattebo RB, Mitchell Evans TE, Jamaree Caldwell NT, Isaac TeSlaa WR, Ahmed Hassanein DE, Craig Woodson S, Eli Cox C, Kalel Mullings RB
Sleeper day 3 pick: Tahj Brooks RB Texas Tech

NB Kamari Lassiter * w/3 cone drill significantly quicker than anyone else of his ilk
NB Mike Sainristil * did have a 3 cone under 7.0 secs, and in shuttle it was he that was significantly quicker than the rest, and w/Kamari next in line, but still a ways off
TE Ben Sinnott * both of these TEs significantly quicker in the 3 cone than any of their counterparts
TE Dallin Hooker * this man took second in the shuttle (behind Theo Johnson), and again w/Sinnott just a bit behind him
TE Tip Reiman * 28 reps @225 and still held his own/decent in the movement drills
TE Theo Johnson * gotta add him as he was not just first in the shuttle, but the 40 as wellED Matayo Uiagalelei, OC Iapani Laloulu, LB CJ Allen, DT Dontay Corleone, CB Domani Jackson, TE Brett Norfleet, TE Justin Joly, LB TeitumTuioti, LB Raylen Wilson, OG Earnest Greene III, LB Eric Gentry, WR J.
