So what - those guys miss too.

i’d love him to improve and show I’m wrong. I am not wrong about what we have seen to date and its not enough. It wasnt only blocking, he showed nothing on an NFL field in preseason or regular season and everyone here if honest knows it. He was benched most weeks for a reason. He averaged 65 yards per season for a reason. He averaged a yard per carry less than other mediocre Charger backs for a reason. He never beat out anyone in our mediocre RB room, yes, for a reason.

You guys can keep believing, I’m rolling die on two new different RBs and he’s welcome to fight for a roster spot in camp for backup.

Lol ok you may have a point there. Ok - I’m over drafting Turner (of Verse or …), drafting an OC in Rd2, and cutting Joey and using the cap savings to upgrade the pregame buffet table.

Spiller needs to given a fair shot, behind decent blocking and Roman's offense.

There quite easily could be untapped potential.

I am not speaking in superlatives, just common sense.
        We play modern Harball.

I am fine giving him a shot - I am speaking common sense too. I’ve seen every carry he’s had in LA.

I am too. Just saying with an improved OL, he will be better. And he showed promise in preseason and took one run 70 yards to the house.

I'm also down to draft 2 RBs, or draft one, sign one.

            3. Kyle Kennard Edge So. Carolina

            4. CJ West DT Indiana
            5. Don'te Thornton WR Tennessee

I want flavors of running backs.
              A little Tiki Barber.
              Some Stump Mitchell..
Mix in a heap of Turner the Burner.

I would be okay with that in round 3.

I’d be happy to see either of these RB rooms for the Chargers.

In a day and age when a lot of combine prospects beg off of running the 40, or medical testing, or doing certain drills, or even ATTENDING the combine, Rome Odunze is getting high marks for his work ethic:

Washington Huskies wide receiver Rome Odunze runs official 4.45-second 40-yard dash at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine.
                        22 - TE Mason Taylor
                        55 - RB Quinshon Judkins
                        86 - DL Josiah Stewart
                        125 - G Dylan Fairchild
                        158 - C Jake Majors
                        181 - WR Donte Thornton
