    Cornelius. Round 5.
I have him slotted behind QJ on our depth chart.
    Good speed to size ratio,
    Understands blocking responsibilities with Harbaugh.
    We play modern Harball.

His combine weight was 243 lbs.
He didn't run at the combine ... so we don't know whether that's his playing weight, or excess weight.

I'd guess his playing weight is 10 lbs less.
How well does he move at 243 lbs?

is the Chiefs blitzed and Purdy had to get rid of the ball. Perhaps two different plays. 49ers had their opportunities and didn't come through when
        it mattered. The Chiefs did.

You cannot discount what happens throughout the game. But with the game on the line Mahomes and Kelce came through. Without Mahomes
playing Houdini the Chiefs do not win that game.
Chris Jones, while a great defensive tackle, did nothing spectacular on that play. The right guard, Spencer Burford, was responsible for Jones on the play and let him run free to the quarterback. If Burford had stuck to his assignment the 49ers likely score a touchdown on that play.

With the game on the line, during the winning drive in overtime, Kelce caught one pass. How exactly does that lead to you stating a tight end won the Super Bowl?

Dalton Kincaid also didn't run at the combine or his pro day. Weighed in at 246 lbs while also being listed at 240 during the season.
Do you have a problem how he moves? Because Bowers is faster than him.

Baltimore TE Isaiah Likely also didn't run at the combine or his pro day but see on Ourlands he runs a 4.65. Measured 6'4", 245....seems to be doing just fine. Does he move good enough for you? Id say Bowers is also faster than him. Likely don't look fast but fast enough. Likely now listed at 241 lbs on Ravens depth chart.

LaPorta listed on Lions depth chart from their website at 6'3", 245.

Taking advantage of mistakes by the other team is how you win.

I believe Kelce had some thing like 8 catches in the second half of the Super Bowl. He definitely had a big hand in the win. It's silly to discount those 2 guys.

the guy that was supposed to block Aaron Donald in the rams bengals game on 4th and 1 whiffed. Is anyone saying Aaron Donald didn't win that game by sacking Burrow? No of course not.

You're not aware of what this conversation is about.

This is all in response to someone who initially stated a tight end won the Super Bowl last season.

I'm not discounting either Kelce or Jones at all. They both played a huge part in the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl. Kelce is not more important than Jones.

By the way, Aaron Donald BEAT the guard who tried to block him in the Rams' Super Bowl win. Spencer Burford went to block the wrong player, leaving Jones unaccounted for. Big difference.

Matt Money Smith is saying that the new FO really likes Josh Palmer as the #2. And don’t count out QJ. That the last regime was using him in the Mike Williams role and that’s not what he does. Expects another WR in the 1st 3 picks. Odunze is the target if they are picking in the top 10. 37 Pearsall is the target.
Pearsall basically to me is a young Keenan.

No one player ever wins a Super Bowl. Football is the ultimate team sport.
The combination of Andy Reid, Mahommes, and Kelce is a force to be dealt with.
It would be very difficult to replicate. Each is unique... and very different than what we have at those positions.
Herbert is not MaHommes. Harbaugh is not Reid. Why would we assume that trying to replicate Kelce would be the only way...?

Find a unique way to beat that Reid/MaHommes/Kelce combination. That's all.
Take a look at the coaching staff and management... and move forward. Draft guys that fit your systems. That's all.

IMO, you attack MaHommes with pressure... especially up the middle. Minter likes to do that... check.
Play solid defense and limit the Chiefs offense. Both Ravens and 49ers did that.
Be balanced and able to run the ball... hopefully you control possession in the last minutes... with MaHommes and Kelce watching.

This isn't rocket science... and this is how the Chiefs have been beaten before. Create turnovers. Be balanced. Control the L.O.S. and win the game. If the Raiders and Broncos can do it... so can we. Trust the system... let go of preconceptions...
                  Protect the QB
                  Run the ball
                  Play great defense

Nice find, Burton. Pearsall has an elite grade on vertical and 3-cone...very good 40 time and shuttle also...projected as good value on day 2 or 3:

                    Scouting Report: Summary

"Ricky Pearsall presents as a versatile WR with a keen ability to patrol the middle of the field, despite some limitations in his deep speed. His prowess in making contested catches and executing intricate routes compensates for his lack of elite breakaway speed. Pearsall's value lies in his playmaking through savvy route running.

In the draft, Pearsall projects as a solid Day 2 or Day 3 pick. His ceiling might not be sky-high due to a lack of explosiveness, but his knack for spectacular catches and adaptability - including special teams - make him a valuable asset. His fit seems optimal as a slot receiver in an 11-personnel setup, where his route-running acumen can be fully leveraged.

The key for Pearsall at the next level is to bolster his play against press coverage and enhance his physicality. His route-running is top-notch, but his ability to handle contact at the line and mid-route needs refinement. With improvements in these areas, Pearsall could evolve into a consistent and crafty receiver, capable of making an impact in the NFL in a complementary role."

This guy was the best WR at the Senior Bowl.
He catches everything. He’s that 3rd down, “gotta have it” guy.
I think there’s already a deal in place privately with either AZ or LAC and MIN in the draft, and that’s why they traded Keenan. Add into it that it’s just a fantastic draft for WR’s and it was inevitable.

I don't know how long I have been saying this. QJ weakness is tracking the ball over his shoulders and jumping for contested balls. This is what the las regime was asking him to do. They should have been getting him the ball in space.
