I'm starting to have CB vibes again... Losing Davis puts a big hole in the secondary that already had big holes. WR is not a lock for the 1st pick... Trade down for a CB might be better.

I don't remember the play you are referring to. The one that I remember was Purdy was blitzed and had to throw the ball away. That came from a safely blitz on the
right side. Not disputing your play. But what does that have to do with Kelce?
I don't know how you don't remember the Spencer Burford play. It was talked about for days after the Super Bowl, in particular because his fellow offensive lineman criticized him on X.

And the Super Bowl blowout loss to the Bucs showed (a game in which Kelce caught 10 passes for 133 yards) they don't win without drafting center Creed Humphrey and guard Trey Smith and signing guard Joe Thuney and right tackle Jawaan Taylor to $80 million deals. Nor do they win without drafting Trent McDuffie or L'Jarius Sneed, whose forced fumble on Zay Flowers was the biggest play in the AFC Championship Game.

If that means Herbert will have to throw it 42 times (as Alex Smith did in a 2011 playoff win over the Saints), that's what it will be. The running game will definitely have a bigger impact under Harbaugh than it did under Staley, though.

McConkey would be my alternate to Pearsall, I want a WR that gets open in 2-3 quick steps, even if a DB can run with him (which will be hard), is already too late.
Pearsall is good though, not a bad pick I doubt the staff is blabbing to a reporter who they will target. Liars Month.
