dude.... looks like you're closing in on 2.5 years here, and just have to give you yet another appreciation, as get so tired of others here throwing out positions and draft picks like hamburger buns, and without going thru any of the machinations to the reality of having enough draft capital or monies to get all the said players that they volunteer.... let alone name names !!!! thank you....

Some of these guys have Tyler Boyd-dare I say Slayer traits.
      Strong hands-route runners. ~ 4.55 Forty.
Question...do QJ & DD give us enough at deep threat ??

Not sure... I didn't see them run any deep routes last year.
I certainly didn't see a run game that generated any threat of play-action.
That's what we're doing this year... right?

So many likable receivers in this draft who could still be there in the late second or third round--or maybe even later. In no particular order, I like the following:

        1. Keon Coleman
        2. Roman Wilson
        3. Jermaine Burton
        4. Ricky Pearsall
        5. Brenden Rice

One of these players could be the steal of the draft. Burton is a guy I really like. He made big plays so often when I would watch Alabama. And he didn't have the greatest passer this past season. It would be interesting to see what he could do with Herbert.

Keon Coleman seems to be the favorite whipping boy of pundits this year...they all feel let down, I think...expected a leap this year, didnt see it...mid 40...but he has hops, and a nice frame...Mike Williams light without the production. If you can coach up his run blocking, he can be a 50/50 ball, and redzone specialist...IF we are seeing that as a big enough need for a day 2 pick...I just like a lot of receivers more...

Ricky Pearsall shouldnt be slept on...but in this crazy wr draft, he is. Wilson is really solid, a little small, but would thrive as a pro slot. Rice is a very physical receiver who seems to fit our scheme well.

Burton is the real sleeper for me...literally...I know next to nothing about him, lol...guess I got another guy to watch!
          Lone Bolt's Final Mock

Tyler Booker G, Josaiah Stewart Edge, Cam Skattebo RB, Mitchell Evans TE, Jamaree Caldwell NT, Isaac TeSlaa WR, Ahmed Hassanein DE, Craig Woodson S, Eli Cox C, Kalel Mullings RB

Sleeper day 3 pick: Tahj Brooks RB Texas Tech

My guess is that we will project QJ/DD to be our deep threats,
and draft a route runner with strong hands.

I would say Palmer works the sidelines, QJ the middle + Go routes, and DD Slot for Jets and Bubbles, Go routes.

Keenan was drafted in the third round after all and maybe we can find some Kupp/Nacua value and production later rather than earlier.

            Jimbo approved BTW.
            We play modern Harball.

Burton is a nice sleeper pick. DB, nice pick indeed. Where does he slot - R4-R5?

Yeah, you would think that one of the fastest WR's in the leaugue would be used as a deep threat... LOL!
Brendan Rice and Ainias Smith are WR's they've met with that I like. These are 4th and 5th round projections.
Hortiz and Harbaugh both mentioned they like FA WR's before and after the draft, as well.

On a "Run the ball better" team, how many WR's do you need...?
The #7 pick in the 2017 draft was the first to go...
Joey stayed (to the chagrin of most @TPB)...
                What does that tell you...?

It might be an elaborate smokescreen... but I'm trying to read the signs.
Hortiz and Harbaugh don't seem like tricksters... I don't think they mind telling you what they're doing... they probably think there's nothing you can do about it anyways.

Insane deep field tracking abilities. When other players lose track of the ball he can come down with it 50% of the time deep down the field... like 40 yard passes. Kind of like a Steve Smith player with no super size and speed but just gets the job done somehow.

4.45 combine time, I read. thats speed enough for a deep threat. He's a good sleeper. I like Rice (R4?), Legatte (R3?), ... there are several. McConkey has wicked separation skills but he's likely Rd2.

Xavier Leggette *so* looks the part! Awesome speed, considering his size. I have zero idea about his intangibles, work ethic, etc., but... dude has the tools.

And something about pairing Justin Herbert up with Jerry Rice's kid sounds like a really good idea.

Leggette will not be available the top of the 3rd round.

Big, physical receiver whose highlights are basically out competing cbs for jump balls,
or getting big yac on short slants, outracing everyone.

Mike Williamesque in tracking and competing on jump balls.

Probably runs a very limited route tree, or he'd be the 4rth receiver off the board.
