Never a dull time of year, that’s for sure.
      Indeed.

Relevant teams will do their own diligence.

The "verbal diarrhea" may be sourced from teams who want Nabers to drop and fall into their laps.

I don’t know much about Tony Pauline, other than I enjoy his content on PFN. Was he merely reporting on what he’s heard, or carrying out a favor for a lower drafting team? It’s worth mentioning that Nabers was detained, though not arrested during Mardi Gras a year ago.

Tony Pauline has been around for quite a while. Just like Mel Kiper and the rest, I don't take his mock draft and scouting reports seriously, but I'm sure he's being honest about what he's heard regarding NFL teams' concerns with Nabers. I don't know who Jordan Schultz is, but I think he needs to get a grip if he's "disgusted" about this report from Pauline:

“The LSU junior is known as a high-maintenance prospect who may struggle in a big city. There are off-the-field questions Nabers has had to answer during the draft process, and teams must feel comfortable with those answers if they’re going to invest an early draft pick and millions of dollars in his services.”

It kind of reminds me of the reports that were labeled as bullshit about Robert Griffin III prior to the 2012 NFL Draft, in which anonymous teammates said he was fake and selfish. Well, it turned to be true.

Glad we interviewed him, hope the coaching staff got the answers they need to make a decision on this kid.

Pauline could have good sources for as few as two teams for these claims to hold.

Tony does his homework and was the very relatively unknown pundit who turned me on to Austin Ekeler pre draft.

Anything is possible and I still cannot believe what Rashee Rice did, post Henry Ruggs.

Who among us hasn’t been arrested during Mardi Gas?

I watched oline tape all weekend, when I wasnt hitting the honey-do list...came away with these nuggets on the top guys, plus a glance at a couple day 2 guys...

I got Latham above Fuaga. I love the intensity of Fuagas game...always gravitate towards those type of prospects...but Latham doesnt make mistakes like him...he doesnt whiff, and never looks lost. Fuagas tape is good...Lathams is better, against better competition. Lathams measurables are off the charts...size, arm length, giant hands...and despite his 360 plus weight, he manages to track down speed rushers and engulf them...grip strength and anchor is crazy...technically more polished. His floor and ceiling are higher, imo...early in the process, his weight bothered me...but Herbert would have him dialed in.

                  My rankings for RIGHT tackle

                  Latham
                  Fuaga
                  Alt
                  Fautanu
                  Olu Fashanu
                  Mims

                  Day 2 nuggets

I do not get Guyton...he is very raw...not good at all...lot of work needed on a size/athletic projection.

Suamataia a bit better...but makes too many mistakes...also needs work...I do like him, but IF he beat out Pip, there would be growing pains

Blake Fisher. Why is this kid so low? He is really good...I got him above both Guyton and Suamataia...much better than both at pass pro...a little light on power, but uses skill to runblock...plenty of frame for Ben Herbert to work with

I watched 2 full games min for those 3 guys, and ranked them.

                  Fisher
                  Suamataia
                  Guyton

The rest of the bunch I glanced at...nobody else moved the needle for me...just dont see them as having a shot at impacting the position anytime soon, and there are better players at positions of need for us, day 2. Not even sure the 3 I ranked unseat Pip...but I do like Fisher...think he is getting slept on a bit.

Just my eyes and my opinion, folks...
                  Lone Bolt's Final Mock

Tyler Booker G, Josaiah Stewart Edge, Cam Skattebo RB, Mitchell Evans TE, Jamaree Caldwell NT, Isaac TeSlaa WR, Ahmed Hassanein DE, Craig Woodson S, Eli Cox C, Kalel Mullings RB

Sleeper day 3 pick: Tahj Brooks RB Texas Tech

While Nabers has the top end speed to effectively stretch defenses-- a trait to Bolts' receiving corps has been short on in recent years-- I think you're reasonable to opine that Odunze is in many ways a better overall fit for the team. And IMO you can't overlook his leadership and character traits. There is NO downside to Odunze.
