the skinny on JH2 is that they are very unlikely to trade down from five, and.... speaking for myself, just not in love w/the pass catchers, as in past years there were guys that I really liked, and.... not this year ??

    Dalton Kincaid
    Garrett Wilson
    George Pickens
    Cade Otton
    CeeDee Lamb
    AJ Brown
    Courtland Sutton

and that's not to say that there weren't boatloads of other wideouts/TEs not on the list that have thrived in the League.... they just weren't on my radar for the Chargers, and.... as mentioned before w/Tristan Wirfs, was much more in favor of him over JH10, as the latter had some mixed reviews, and was a bit wary, and.... good choice by team Tommy John.

ED Matayo Uiagalelei, CB Domani Jackson, OG Earnest Greene III, DT Dontay Corleone, OC Iapani Laloulu, WR J Michael Sturdivant, LB Eric Gentry
ED Malcom Koonce, LB Isaiah Simmons, TE Cade Otton, RB Kyren Williams, QB Gardner Minshew, TE Jelani Woods, P Matt Araiza

Your crazy?!?!? I see at least 10 pros in this draft...
Chiefs won the Superbowl with 10 Rookies....

I read a piece regarding Harbaugh's 1st round behavior: Did not trade the first round pick, does not draft o-line, highest drafted o-line was 3rd round. Drafted RB in 2nd round twice.

Harbaugh did not do the drafting for SF.
Baalke the GM did and they had their differences.
I don't think we can look at those drafts as JHs drafts.

Im not sure they drafted any of his Stanford guys. Maybe 1?

Hortiz,....he likes extra picks so we'll see.

They are going to need those extra picks this year to start building the core of this team.

                  We're way past that.
Herbert, Slater, Tuli. Big 3 are on board. 4 of 5 OL plus depth on and on.
We need a C, CB, DT and WR.

So Tuli and James are your core on D? I guess your definition and my definition of core are different.

Plus Harbaugh never had a young Herbert.

Perhaps we're all looking at this the wrong way. Harbaugh's draft was when he picked his coaching staff and got a GM to partner with

A Pro Bowl Safety and highly regarded 2nd year edge are a nice start. Mack &; Bosa are iffy re staying. If so, PB / HOF players at edge.
We kept Gilman. More core IMO. ASJ is a quality starting CB. Henley, solid starting prospect ILB.
DL has 5 guys I'm curious to see with the new coaches & trainers.

                        What's your core D definition?

Actually it's very easy to see what they're gonna do. #1: Just listen to what they told us so far. "Want to build a tough, physical team, protect Herbert, and run the ball better."

#2: They just told us with the Mack move that they think they can win and want to fix whats wrong with the roster. So just go back and watch last years tape, especially the close games where they failed to get it done on the final drive. Why did that repeatedly happen?

Miami - couldn't protect the QB.
Tennessee - couldn't protect the QB
Dallas - couldn't protect the QB
Baltimore - couldn't protect the QB
Green Bay - couldn't protect the QB

#3: What position group allows you to build more physicality, protect Herbert, run the ball better, AND addresses a primary reason for last seasons losses? It's not wide receiver.
