Personally? Don't know how you pass on that, unless someone gives up a boatload to trade up to the #5 spot.

At 5, I have Bowers, MHJ and Nabers. Could see an OT. I like Nabers quite a bit. Way aggressive. MHJ has been running an NFL route tree since he was 12 yo. Bowers is my choice - but receiver, yes. Too many times, Herbert had no one open that he could trust. That's just not right. MW, Palmer good - very good on the day they,re healthy. Q ??. We still need a quality receiver.beside KA. If Q gets his shit together, way cool but I don't want to bet the 2024 season on it.

You do if a bunch of players we want are off the board and you can draft rape someone by dropping 3-5 spots. We need CB, DE, and WR bad especially after we let some people go, If the top two receivers are off the board and there are QBs a plentiful there you trade down. All this hinges on what Chicago does with their first pick.

It’s still Nabers, not Nabors.

He is going to be special. I’m still leaning Bowers would have greater impact but its really a close opinion type call - no crystal ball over here.

Waste of a pick at this point in time. Unless you have red flags on the top two receivers then you go alternative. Seems like most of the time people were rushing up the middle so you need to fix interior line first which can be done in later rounds. Playmakers first not just players....

If Nabers was like a Mike Evans then I would put him top 10 pick. But looking at WRs in 2023 and the amount of snaps WRs play and the dependent on OL and QB. And then None of the top 10 for 2023 in reception, yards, TD were top 10 picks except Evans.
I See way too many mid rd WRs and TEs making impact. Nabers is not top 10 player, neither is Bowers, IMO.

And then I look at post season right now. I see a lot of top OTs in the NFL remaining playoff teams. And they were not found in middle rds.
Williams, Tunsil, Stanley, Wirfs, Decker, Sewell
QB driven league need these guys


Think is so much easier to find a 6' 200lb that can run and catch and become a 1000yd WR. Than find a 6'7 325lb monster that can dominate the line of scrimmage.

Spend the #5 on OL. MH2 is the only top 10 WR.
And he won't be there at #5. And if you want a target for your QB then move up to #3 and get the #1WR in this draft.

If you want to add weapons then add the OL which are line of scrimmage monster tanks = Massive Weapons.
