His size may make him fall down to 7...

So hes a couple inches shorter than Bosa. He can add some weight. He probably has to work hard to play at 275. Hes 21. Im almost always smitten with the really young guys. They are still growing. His size is of no concern to me. Donald is probably 10 pounds heavier and isnt a guy you line up on the edge. Thomas is a dual threat. He can 2 gap no problem. So he could probably even play 5T or 3T in Bradley's 43 as well as the Leo spot. Bosa can do the same. Ingram can play Leo and SAM. And sometimes line him up in the middle like Seattle does with Frank Clark and blitz from there. I think Bosa/Thomas/Ingram gives us one of the best pass rush groups in the league. You send that group at a QB with the CBs we have and a good ballhawking FS we should do well.

I think it would be a good thing if he fell to us. Sounds like it.

I think Thomas goes # 4. Might even go #2 over Allen if he kills at the combine. You can compare him to Bosa and see the next DROY..
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

With that being said, I wouldn't be upset with Thomas at #7

                  What about something like this:

                  1. Reuben Foster LB Alabama
                  2. Chris Wormley DE/DT Mich
                  3. Justin Evans S Tex A&M or Marcus Williams S Utah

That should shore up the middle of our Def. for years to come.

Edge, CB, S, TE, RB, WR are extremely deep this year. Id like to get some value.

                    Obi Melifanwu SS Connecticut
                    Marcus Williams FS Utah
                    Kevin King CB Washington
                    Donta Foreman RB texas
                    Josh Reynolds WR A&M
                    Jeremy Sprinkle TE Arkansas

Hey, with us going to a 4-3 it might be safe to let Yuba back in.

I'd love that if they have another plan to fix the OL.

Nothing wrong with taking a safety if it is the right safety. Ask the Seahawks how important that position, seeing how their defense collapsed after Thomas got hurt.
