Tahj Brooks then gets killed by UNLV trying to block. He’s a waste of time. You’re looking for ghosts trying to convince yourself he’s good. I don’t care what his stats were. He’s not good.
Minus Tahj Brooks who looked awful. Dropping balls, fumbling, not explosive. He has holes open for him and he runs into guys instead. Yucky and no thank you.

Didn’t see Phil Mafah out there either and thank god. He’s a vomit player and want no part of him anyway.

(Raheim) Sanders is the gem of this group. Big body and looks sharp. He can at least keep his feet churning and keep working his way up field.

Oronde Gadsen Jr. looks good just moving around out there. No issue with the hands. Looks like he has some gazelle qualities to him. Looks like a matchup nightmare. Who covers that guy? Just as a physical being, he’s impressive. Worth investigating more. Although, he was intriguing during the actual year too.

You can tell Nazir Stackhouse has power on his side but he’s not quick off the ball. Not a surprise. He’s a late round nose all day long and can do his role well.

Antwaun Powell-Ryland out here flashing spin moves in pass rushing drills. Looks like a situational guy who will bring speed to the table.

ED Matayo Uiagalelei, CB Domani Jackson, OG Earnest Greene III, DT Dontay Corleone, OC Iapani Laloulu, WR J Michael Sturdivant, LB Eric Gentry
ED Malcom Koonce, LB Isaiah Simmons, TE Cade Otton, RB Kyren Williams, QB Gardner Minshew, TE Jelani Woods, P Matt Araiza

I didn't notice Walter Nolen's first step quickness watching actual games,
and I was looking for it.

thought you didn't care for the guy ?? Daubert called him a "run around guy" ....not exactly a compliment,

Noel has nice muscular legs and Popeyeish forearms. He looks like he’s seriously trained to be a pro.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
            Let’s win one for Mack.

After comparing tape, and seeing Senior Bowl week coverage and write ups, I cant see a big diff between Arroyo and Loveland...in other words, if you are willing to spend 22 on Loveland, then you should be willing to spend it on Arroyo...what does that mean? If Jim n Joe feel the same way about the TE1 position as SOME of us fans...I think they will have a legit prospect available at 22, be it Warren, Loveland, or Arroyo.

Watching Zabel and Monheim trade back and forth between C and G in the game...neither was perfect, but I liked what I saw from both...I didnt hear much about Monheim from practice week, but he looked very solid...and very STRONG, blocking, in the game.

Savion Jones got my attention...him and Stewart interesting "Big Edge" prospects...

              Lone Bolt's Final Mock

Tyler Booker G, Josaiah Stewart Edge, Cam Skattebo RB, Mitchell Evans TE, Jamaree Caldwell NT, Isaac TeSlaa WR, Ahmed Hassanein DE, Craig Woodson S, Eli Cox C, Kalel Mullings RB

Sleeper day 3 pick: Tahj Brooks RB Texas Tech

No worries... the 4th round should have 2 or 3 gems still left.
Jaylin Noel is/was in my 3rd round cluster...

All 3 are good edge setters... APR could be that pass rushing specialist we desperately need.

Wow...! Zabel and Arroyo are the media darlings at the moment.

Not enough production out of Orroyo (46 receptions in 4 years) for me to put him in round 2 (much less round 1).
Zabel will have to prove he can make the huge jump in competition. Cody Mauch's tape showed him to be physically imposing.

I'm still spending my free agent money on a proven IOL. I'm tired of hanging my hat on rookie IOL prospects. Is there any less predictable position in football...?

Best bet is to just sign a decent FA WR...are we back to considering Higgins as our ahem, cup of "Tee" again?

Tez is exactly the receiver KC keeps drafting earlier than expected every year. Uncoverable, can he survive NFL hits? I’d love his skill set for Herbie, but he’s not that big X we have all blathered about all off season. My #1 is separation, he stands out by a mile from all of the rest on that.
Zabel made himself a boatload of cash this week. Did he elevate to top IOL from bottom half of T10? Is he a legit Rd1 pick now?
Arroyo - very impressive week - legit weapon, I didn’t see clips of him blocking so?

Bech game MVP but I honestly don’t see a Day1 or 2 skill set, think he’ll have less success when every DB is NFL caliber. Early day3 at the earliest imo.

fun week to weigh and measure cattle … gonna a get boring now again …
