    Yeah, he’s really good too.

Just look at the Chargers. When was the last time the Chargers had a solid NT/DT? They haven't had one since Jamal.

You like Nolan. How about drafting Nolan @22 as DE and in the 4th draft JJ Pegues at DT/NT. This is kinda what I was talking about earlier. Or you could take Grant @22 as NT/DT and draft T.J Sanders as DE. These are just some examples. There are a lot of different ways they could go with how deep the draft is at IDL.
Really good combinations there. Ole Miss D line was really a weirdly ran group last year. A lot of the time they’d line up Nolan over C and JJ outside and yet they technically were exactly what you are pointing out positionally. It worked but it was an odd alignment.

I really like the idea of TJ Sanders in DE and NT Nazir Stackhouse too.

I think I've said this before, but the Chargers could really transform their d-line this year and they should. Lots of good IDL through all rnds of this draft which the Chargers should take advantage of.

This might not be a popular opinion, but I would prioritize building the defense vs offense but with how deep this draft his they could potentially do both.
Time to put my money where my mouth is: Hampton will be better than Jeanty!

There is a lot of flexibility in moving guys around on the dline confusing offenses which is something Minter likes to do.

Yeah, there are a lot of different combos you could come up with. I just hope Hortiz/Harbaugh take advantage of it.

I think they have to still get offensive too.
            It’s still pretty weak.

No disrespect to Kenneth Grant, Walter Nolan, or Derrick Harmon... but my goodness... those DT's that are projected to go in the 3rd and 4th rounds sure look tempting! Isn't Joe all about value? He kept Teair Tart but let Poona Ford go... The Ravens used to find their DT's in the 3rd round...

Darius Alexander, Omar Norman-Lott, Jordan Phillips, Joshua Farmer, Alfred Collins, and CJ West...
Has there ever been a deeper DT class...?

Meanwhile... you have Tuli as your lone starting ED next year.
If Loveland and Hampton are gone by #22... I'm leaning edge rusher.

              Play great defense

Agree. There is good depth at DL and RB in this draft. But Hortiz has to figure out WR and TE for the future. Conklin and Williams are not the long term answers. But Conklin and Williams does allow Hortiz to not draft them in R1 -- granted if Loveland or TMac is there - no brainer.

Hell, I could see them then going EDGE then LB at this point. lol.

And yes, it’s extremely deep at DT. Teams will be able to find immediate starters into the 4th round IMO.

We not picking DT in 1st Rd and even if it will not be Grant.

The DT class this year looks incredible....

Heck Id be happy with Cam Jackson, Yahya Black or Patrick Jenkins!

That leaves WR, RB, TE or Edge

I think the DT would be Harmon over Grant

I've been told that I cannot have Hampton or Loveland @#22.
I've turned my sights to EDGE. Specifically, looking at the nation's leaders in sacks last year.
