Love the Mahomes pick as a potential future franchise QB to learn under PR for the next 2 years. I think it's time to get started on that process.

I don't think QB is urgent enough that we should grab one before the 3rd. Any QB after round 3 will truly be a developmental pick. I doubt Mahomes or Peterman will be there. Maybe a guy like Evans out of Virginia Tech, who should have stayed in school, will be there then

Id rather have Peppers in the 2nd than going qb which is a pure backup position. We do need a backup but really it comes down to can we get a guy to develop into a starter or go there 1-2 years from now. We need defense (safety or DL) and OL the most so hope something lines up with our cluster of players.

Peppers, while talented, scares me a little. Guess I don't really like players without a true position or maybe our previous coaching staff just never figured out a way to use them.
