I don't see McCaffrey taking over for Gordon. It will be by committee. He don't have the size to do it all and take over at RB. He is going to be like Reggie Bush. Still a reach for me.
NFL network had us drafting RB McCaffery

This is a case of ODPDS= Obsessive Draft Prospect Derangement Syndrome
There are 35 other players I would rather have at 7 than this guy
By the way a guy who stands to make as much if not more money than McCaffrey played his final game and went off leading his team to victory and he still went to the combine and will actually be in Philly for the Draft...Solomon Thomas , give me that guy

I'm coming around a bit on the McCaffery idea. It's not what I'd do, but I can see it.
Projecting Minimally...
8 Rushes a game
5 receptions a game
4 kick/punt returns a game.
That's 17 touches. And that's with minimal use. And the guy is a weapon, who can break it at any time.
(Plus, I love the idea of him and Henry lining up next to Rivers... how many options and how much flexibility there would be.)"...of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong."

Drafting someone like McCaffery will be dictated by the movement ahead of them. If the elite pass rushers and safeties are gone and there are no trade back options, I could see the Bolts pulling the trigger on someone like McCaffery. Probably not their first option when the draft begins but it would be someone that should be able to contribute right away at a position where you lost a key component in FA.I'll ride the wave...where it takes me.
