I have a feeling teams will take the risks on the freakish athletes early in the draft.
Allen, Sweat, Metcalf.
I don't think teams draft these types of players for versatility and ask them to do a lot.
They draft them to impact the game at what they do best.

If you have plans to have Allen and Sweat in drop into coverage, why? You just made the opponents job easier by removing the threat to disrupt the play in the backfield.

For Metcalf, you don't run him on the whole route tree and try to connect on a bunch of hitches & digs, that's not what this guy is for. He his to be a homerun threat at all times, putting immense pressure on the defense not to get beat deep. Opening up the field for teammates. Then if they give a big cushion to him, then you take the short stuff.

Yeah i dont think Metcalk is a top 10 player. IMO he is getting over hyped because of his 40 time and size. Which translates well in college but not in the NFL.
He dont have the quicks to get seperation in the NFL and will need route work. I wouldnt pick him top 10 if that is where i draft. I get a WR in round 2 if WR is a top target of mine.

Calvin Johnson was. Charles Woodson said Calvin only ran 4 routes. Not all 9 in the tree. But Charles said it did not matter because nobody in practice could duplicate Johnson's dominance. So he was hard to prepare for.

DK is no CJ. I mean there is a reason CJ was universally thought of as a top 3 pick, DK isnt even universally a top 10. But hey agree to disagree.
