Loved his measurables. His hands have been much improved.

Still very happy with Verrett. 3 games now where he is pretty much shutting down anyone in front of him. Many of the scouts were spot on with him. The only thing that kept him out of the top 10 was 2 inches.

I liked him, but everyone here was saying he was suspect of dropsies. Still glad TT took care of the CB position, Verrett is special.

Well he did have drop issues in college. I think he might have had a red flag or 2. But he looks to have better focus now.

I heard it said during the Auburn/Arkansas game that the Oline for Arkansas is bigger than like 28 NFL Olines. I tried to find a depth chart to find the names and details on these guys but couldn't find it. I'd like to now how there guards are rated.

                Thanks SC.

So, in the interior only the LG is a SR, the C is JR and the RG is a Soph. The RT is a SR, maybe he projects to be a Guard at the next level.

                LT Dan Skipper 317 Soph
                LG Luke Carpentier 320 Sr
C Mitch Smothers 315 Jr (Good name for an Olineman)
                RG Denver Kirkland 348 Soph
                RT Brey Cook 328 Sr

                    Brugler's Week 5 Preview:

Really looking forward to Shelton and Kikaha vs. Stanford OL this weekend.

                    FEATURED MATCH-UP:

                    STANFORD | WASHINGTON
                    Saturday, Sept. 27, 4 p.m.
                    Seattle, Wash. -- FOX

The last time Stanford traveled to Husky Stadium, unranked Washington pulled the upset and defeated the Cardinal, who were ranked No. 8 at the time. Despite a talented roster in 2014 and optimism with new head coach Chris Petersen, the Huskies have had one of the more underwhelming 4-0 starts in recent memory, but there is no question Washington has the talent to pull off the upset again. Stanford, who is coming off a bye week, has won seven of the last nine meetings between these two programs.

                    FIVE PROSPECTS TO FOCUS ON:
                    CB Marcus Peters, rJR, Washington (6-0 | 198 | 4.52 | #21)
After a sideline tirade earlier this month, Peters was suspended for the Sept. 13 contest against Illinois. He returned to the team last week against Georgia State and although he started on the second team, it didn't take long for Peters to make an impact, recording two interceptions and regaining his spot atop the depth chart. The Huskies will need Peters in this game as he'll often be matched up with Stanford's top offensive weapon, senior WR Ty Montgomery (6-2 | 215 | 4.46 | #7), who is one of the top receiver and returner prospects in the country. With his size, length and athleticism, Peters has the natural tools to be a top-15 NFL Draft pick and this game is an ideal stage for him to show that.

                    LT Andrus Peat, JR, Stanford (6-7 | 312 | 5.28 | #70)
Arguably the most physically gifted lineman in all of college football, Peat will have his hands full in this match-up against Washington's RS senior DE/OLB Hau'oli Kikaha (6-3 | 250 | 4.79 | #8), who ranks among the nation's leaders with six sacks this season. Peat is a dancing bear with NFL size and the balance and body control to mirror rushers in space, displaying the length and strength to lock out and control defenders at the point of attack. Kikaha relies on his first step burst and relentless energy to get to the quarterback, which will keep Peat on his toes when matched up against each other. This might be a battle of future first round picks and a match-up that NFL scouts will be tracking with great interest.

                    NT Danny Shelton, SR, Washington (6-2 | 332 | 5.16 | #55)
While Kikaha is one of the college football's top sack artists, it's actually Shelton who leads the Huskies (and FBS) in sacks (7.0) through four weeks of the college football season. In 27 starts entering the year, he had just 2.5 career sacks so Shelton's 2014 production has been impressive, although it's also somewhat misleading and he's unlikely to keep up this pace. He is a coordinated bully, who carries his weight well and uses his powerful upper body to work off blocks and make plays on the ballcarrier between the hashes. Shelton relies too much on his upper body strength at times and needs to continue and develop his leverage and technique, but scouts like his combination of power to two-gap and range to work all over the line of scrimmage.

                    WLB Shaq Thompson, JR, Washington (6-2 | 231 | 4.56 | #7)
A player who has received some Ryan Shazier comparisons due to his speed and athleticism at the position, Thompson started his Washington career in the secondary as a hybrid nickelback/safety before moving full-time to the WILL linebacker position in 2014. He is second on the team in tackles this season with 28 stops and has been the originator of several big plays, including an interception and fumble recovery both returned for touchdowns. Thompson also has double-digit snaps at running back and is averaging 13.7 yards per carry with one score on offense. Like Shazier, he needs coached up in several areas before he's ready for the NFL, but his natural skill-set will receive first round grades.

                    CB Wayne Lyons, rJR, Stanford (6-1 | 196 | 4.56 | #2)
After becoming a full-time starter last season, Lyons separated himself as one of the more impressive members of Stanford's stout defense. He looks the part with a tall, lanky frame and long arms, displaying the field speed and reflexes to make plays against both the pass and the run. While he's physical downhill, Lyons needs to be more consistent breaking down in space and finishing ballcarriers on the perimeter, but he plays with steadfast confidence and the aggressive nature that doesn't waver from snap-to-snap. Washington, who currently ranks 104th in FBS in passing offense, has only one wideout with double-digit catches this season as the Huskies have struggled to move the ball through the air.

                    OTHER STANFORD PROSPECTS TO WATCH:
                    WR Devon Cajuste, rJR (6-4 | 228 | 4.59 | #89)
                    QB Kevin Hogan, rJR (6-4 | 228 | 4.72 | #8)
                    SS Jordan Richards, SR (5-11 | 208 | 4.57 | #8)
                    OLB James Vaughters, SR (6-2 | 254 | 4.73 | #9)
                    ILB A.J. Tarpley, rSR (6-2 | 238 | 4.84 | #17)
                    DE Henry Anderson, rSR (6-6 | 295 | 5.06 | #91)

                    OTHER WASHINGTON PROSPECTS TO WATCH:
                    WR Kasen Williams, SR (6-2 | 221 | 4.54 | #2)
                    ILB John Timu, SR (6-1 | 244 | 4.83 | #10)
                    RB Jesse Callier, rSR (5-10 | 202 | 4.53 | #24)
                    WR Jaydon Mickens, JR (5-11 | 172 | 4.48 | #4)
                    DE Andrew Hudson, rSR (6-3 | 251 | 4.78 | #93)
                    WR DiAndre Campbell, rSR (6-2 | 199 | 4.59 | #19)

                    UCLA at ARIZONA STATE
                    Thursday, Sept. 25, 10 p.m.
Tempe, Ariz. -- FOX Sports 1

WHEN THE BRUINS HAVE THE BALL…
The UCLA coaching staff has been noncommittal this week on whether or not RS junior QB Brett Hundley (6-3 | 227 | 4.64 | #17) will start after missing most of the Bruins' last game against Texas two weeks ago. He has been dealing with a left elbow (non-throwing) injury, but it's not considered serious and he will be a game-time decision. One of the stand-outs of the Sun Devils re-built defense in 2014 has been RS senior FS Damarious Randall (6-0 | 190 | 4.56 | #3), who leads the team in tackles (27), tackles for loss (4.0) and forced fumbles (1).

WHEN THE SUN DEVILS HAVE THE BALL…
With RS senior QB Taylor Kelly (6-2 | 211 | 4.84 | #10) sidelined and out for this game with a foot injury, the offense will rely heavily on junior RB D.J. Foster (5-11 | 203 | 4.49 | #8), who is averaging 170 rush yards per game and 9.4 yards per rush through three games. RS senior ILB Eric Kendricks (6-0 | 230 | 4.58 | #6) will likely be shadowing Foster most of the game, which will challenge his range and pursuit skills with Foster doing much of his damage on the perimeter. Kendricks ranks third in the Pac-12 in tackles, averaging 12.3 per game.

                    OTHER UCLA PROSPECTS TO WATCH:
                    DE Owamagbe Odighizuwa, rSR (6-3 | 270 | 4.79 | #94)
                    DT Ellis McCarthy, JR (6-4 | 330 | 5.18 | #90)
                    RB Jordan James, rSR (5-9 | 196 | 4.49 | #6)
                    SS Anthony Jefferson, rSR (6-1 | 190 | 4.58 | #23)

OTHER ARIZONA STATE PROSPECTS TO WATCH:
                    WR Jaelen Strong, rJR (6-4 | 212 | 4.55 | #21)
                    LT Jamil Douglas, rSR (6-4 | 300 | 5.09 | #74)
                    HB De'Marieya Nelson, rSR (6-2 | 224 | 4.76 | #12)
                    DL Marcus Hardison, SR (6-4 | 298 | 4.96 | #1)

                    TENNESSEE at GEORGIA
                    Saturday, Sept. 27, Noon
                    Athens, Ga. -- ESPN

WHEN THE VOLUNTEERS HAVE THE BALL…
Senior QB Justin Worley (6-4 | 224 | 4.92 | #14) did a nice job over the first two weeks this season, but he struggled mightily against Oklahoma in Tennessee's last game, finishing with under 50-percent completions, two interceptions and five sacks, struggling with defensive pressure all game. The Georgia defense will present more of the same challenges in this contest with the Bulldogs' active blitzers, notably RS sophomore SLB Leonard Floyd (6-3 | 220 | 4.73 | #84) and senior ILB Amarlo Herrera (6-0 | 244 | 4.77 | #52) who have a combined 12 QB hurries.

WHEN THE BULLDOGS HAVE THE BALL…
Tennessee's defense is allowing just 3.9 yards per rush, but Bulldogs' junior RB Todd Gurley (6-1 | 232 | 4.54 | #3) is averaging 9.8 rushing yards per game, which ranks No. 1 nationally and leads the SEC in rushing yards per game (134). Senior MLB A.J. Johnson (6-2 | 242 | 4.79 | #45), the Volunteers leader on defense, will face the tough task of stopping Gurley and Georgia's ground attack, which averages over 300 rush yards per game. This is the type of contest that could help the confidence of RS senior QB Hutson Mason (6-2 | 202 | 4.96 | #14).

                    OTHER TENNESSEE PROSPECTS TO WATCH:
                    RB Marlin Lane, SR (5-11 | 210 | 4.59 | #15)
                    CB Justin Coleman, SR (5-10 | 190 | 4.53 | #27)
                    TE Brendan Downs, SR (6-5 | 228 | 4.76 | #85)
                    WR Pig Howard, JR (5-8 | 186 | 4.48 | #2)

                    OTHER GEORGIA PROSPECTS TO WATCH:
                    OLB Jordan Jenkins, JR (6-2 | 246 | 4.76 | #59)
                    ILB Ramik Wilson, SR (6-2 | 232 | 4.76 | #51)
                    CB Damian Swann, SR (5-11 | 178 | 4.52 | #5)
                    C David Andrews, SR (6-2 | 295 | 5.15 | #61)

                    ARKANSAS vs. TEXAS A&M
                    Saturday, Sept. 27, 3:30 p.m.
                    Arlington, Texas -- CBS

WHEN THE RAZORBACKS HAVE THE BALL…
The Arkansas ground-and-pound offense is No. 1 in the SEC, averaging 324.5 rush yards per game, with junior RB Jonathan Williams (5-11 | 223 | 4.56 | #32) leading the team in rushing yards per carry (8.1) and rushing touchdowns (7). Senior RT Brey Cook (6-6 | 328 | 5.29 | #74) is a mauling run blocker and offers versatility as a pro prospect with starting experience at LT and inside at OG. Texas A&M senior CB Deshazor Everett (5-11 | 188 | 4.54 | #29) has had his share of ups and downs this season, but his physical traits likely give him a NFL future.

WHEN THE AGGIES HAVE THE BALL…
The top prospect match-up to watch with the Razorbacks on defense is senior DE Trey Flowers (6-4 | 267 | 4.82 | #86) when he's lined up against the Aggies' talented tackles: RS senior LT Cedric Ogbuehi (6-5 | 300 | 4.98 | #70) and RS sophomore RT Germain Ifedi (6-5 | 320 | 5.34 | #74). Ogbuehi has the talent to continue the Aggies' streak of top-10 offensive tackles and Ifedi has taken his game to the next level this season. Senior CB Tevin Mitchel (6-0 | 188 | 4.52 | #23) is a fringe draftable prospect and will certainly be tested in this game.

                    OTHER ARKANSAS PROSPECTS TO WATCH:
                    SLB Braylon Mitchell, rSR (6-2 | 231 | 4.76 | #34)
                    WR Keon Hatcher, JR (6-2 | 210 | 4.56 | #4)
                    TE A.J. Derby, rSR (6-4 | 246 | 5.14 | #11)
                    QB Brandon Allen, rJR (6-3 | 216 | 4.82 | #10)

OTHER TEXAS A&M PROSPECTS TO WATCH:
                    LG Jarvis Harrison, rSR (6-3 | 325 | 5.27 | #51)
                    TE Cameron Clear, rSR (6-6 | 274 | 4.88 | #85)
                    WR Malcome Kennedy, rSR (6-0 | 205 | 4.57 | #84)
                    C Mike Matthews, JR (6-2 | 285 | 5.12 | #56)

                    CINCINNTI at OHIO STATE
                    Saturday, Sept. 27, 6 p.m.
Columbus, Ohio -- Big Ten Network

WHEN THE BEARCATS HAVE THE BALL…
No program in the state of Ohio has defeated Ohio State since 1921 (Oberlin College), but if Cincinnati is going to change that, the key will be RS sophomore QB Gunner Kiel (6-4 | 208 | 4.85 | #11). The Notre Dame transfer has looked impressive in the first two games of his college career, combining for 65.8% completions, 689 yards, 10 scores and only two interceptions. Kiel's top target through the air is junior WR Mekale McKay (6-5 | 195 | 4.62 | #2), who leads UC in receiving and will face Ohio State senior CB Doran Grant (5-11 | 193 | 4.49 | #12).

WHEN THE BUCKEYES HAVE THE BALL…
Coming off a bye week, the Ohio State offense is expected to get senior TE Jeff Heuerman (6-5 | 255 | 468 | #86) back on the field after he missed the last game with a foot injury. He started the first two games, but has yet to record a catch this season. Senior WR Devin Smith (6-1 | 197 | 4.46 | #9) has been feast or famine most of his career and so far 2014 has been more of the same with 42.2 yards per catch, but only five receptions. Through two games, Florida State transfer RS senior ILB Jeff Luc (6-1 | 251 | 4.83 | #1) leads UC in tackles (30).

                    OTHER CINCINNATI PROSPECTS TO WATCH:
                    LT Eric Lefeld, rSR (6-6 | 309 | 5.22 | #71)
                    RB Hosey Williams, SR (5-9 | 199 | 4.54 | #23)
                    RB Ralph David Abernathy IV, SR (5-7 | 161 | 4.45 | #1)
                    SLB Nick Temple, SR (5-10 | 218 | 4.76 | #43)

OTHER OHIO STATE PROSPECTS TO WATCH:
                    DT Michael Bennett, SR (6-2 | 288 | 4.96 | #63)
                    ILB Curtis Grant, SR (6-3 | 240 | 4.73 | #14)
                    RB Rod Smith, rSR (6-3 | 231 | 4.64 | #7)
                    DE Steve Miller, SR (6-3 | 255 | 4.81 | #88)

                    MISSOURI at SOUTH CAROLINA
                    Saturday, Sept. 27, 7 p.m.
                    Columbia, S.C. -- ESPN

WHEN THE TIGERS HAVE THE BALL…
Regardless of the names on the roster, Missouri always seems to have bigger receivers as their top targets and it's true again in 2014 with RS seniors WR Bud Sasser (6-2 | 210 | 4.67 | #21) and WR Darius White (6-2 | 205 | 4.56 | #8). Sasser leads the team with 24 catches for 368 yards and White, a Texas transfer, isn't too far behind at 15 grabs for 230 yards. With the Gamecocks struggling in the secondary, the veteran leaders like seniors SS Brison Williams (5-11 | 218 | 4.57 | #12) and SPUR Sharrod Golightly (5-10 | 205 | 4.57 | #9) need to step up and play better.

WHEN THE GAMECOCKS HAVE THE BALL…
The South Carolina offense has been streaky both on the ground and through the air, but one constant has been the outstanding play of RS senior LG A.J. Cann (6-3 | 318 | 5.18 | #50), who is arguably the best interior lineman in the country. RS senior LT Corey Robinson (6-7 | 348 | 5.33 | #53) has shown some improvements in 2014, but this game will present an excellent test against RS senior DE Markus Golden (6-3 | 260 | 4.72 | #33) and RS junior DE Shane Ray (6-3 | 245 | 4.83 | #56), who have combined for 10 sacks and 16 tackles for loss this season.

                    OTHER MISSOURI PROSPECTS TO WATCH:
                    RB Russell Hansbrough, JR (5-9 | 190 | 4.56 | #32)
                    RB Marcus Murphy, rSR (5-9 | 195 | 4.50 | #6)
                    LT Mitch Morse, rSR (6-5 | 305 | 5.29 | #65)
                    WR Jimmie Hunt, rSR (6-0 | 215 | 4.54 | #88)

OTHER SOUTH CAROLINA PROSPECTS TO WATCH:
                    RB Mike Davis, JR (5-9 | 216 | 4.52 | #28)
                    DT J.T. Surratt, rSR (6-2 | 305 | 5.08 | #97)
                    TE Rory Anderson, SR (6-5 | 232 | 4.73 | #81)
                    RB Brandon Wilds, rJR (6-1 | 218 | 4.62 | #22)

                    NOTRE DAME vs. SYRACUSE
                    Saturday, Sept. 27, 8 p.m.
                    East Rutherford, N.J. -- ABC

WHEN THE FIGHTING IRISH HAVE THE BALL…
A darkhorse Heisman Trophy candidate and underrated NFL prospect, RS junior QB Everett Golson (6-0 | 200 | 4.73 | #5) is one of only three FBS quarterbacks with at least 90 pass attempts and zero interceptions this season. He has accounted for 11 touchdowns (seven passing, four rushing) and has the Fighting Irish averaging 36.3 points per game. Syracuse has a pair of impact defenders who have drawn the eyes of NFL scouts: RS junior FS Durrell Eskridge (6-3 | 203 | 4.50 | #3) and senior OLB Dyshawn Davis (6-2 | 221 | 4.72 | #35).

WHEN THE ORANGE HAVE THE BALL…
A player that will probably attract Justin Pugh comparisons, RS senior LT Sean Hickey (6-5 | 300 | 5.14 | #60) is arguably Syracuse's top senior prospect. A potential top-100 pick, he has light feet to play in space and stay on the edges, but he looks more like a NFL guard with his body type and play style. Dual threat RS junior QB Terrel Hunt (6-3 | 233 | 4.68 | #10) leads the team in rushing with 273 yards, averaging 91 rush yards per game, but RS senior RB Prince-Tyson Gulley (5-8 | 195 | 4.63 | #23) is averaging more yards per carry (7.8).

OTHER NOTRE DAME PROSPECTS TO WATCH:
                    TE Ben Koyack, SR (6-4 | 261 | 4.77 | #18)
                    RG Christian Lombard, rSR (6-5 | 315 | 5.26 | #74)
                    CB Cody Riggs, rSR (5-9 | 190 | 4.56 | #31)
                    LT Ronnie Stanley, rSO (6-6 | 318 | 5.16 | #78)

                    OTHER SYRACUSE PROSPECTS TO WATCH:
                    WR Jarrod West, rSR (6-2 | 209 | 4.53 | #88)
                    CB Brandon Reddish, SR (5-10 | 186 | 4.60 | #4)
                    DE Robert Welsh, rSR (6-3 | 248 | 4.98 | #94)
                    OLB Cameron Lynch, SR (5-11 | 226 | 4.75 | #38)

Yea id be fine with Gurley in the back of the 1st. Best all around RB in the country. A true 3 down back. And a monster at 6'1 230.

Go Aztecs. If UNLV has a beast at wide receiver, he should be easy to outsmart.
