Preseason Cancelled

So from what I hear the entire preseason has been cancelled this year. Assuming there is season play how do you think this will affect things, especially for the players?

Rookies will be screwed, and the play will be sloppy for the first few games. I expect more injuries than usual too.

With all that extra free time it would be wise to have more conditioning and stretch flexibility management. The first two games of the season will be preseason anyways. at least its not some kind of weird nba or baseball season?!?!?
