Wow, how impressive is this guy looking? He's running better than I had thought he would based on reports from the media over the off season (his ankles were supposed to be a hinderance on the base-paths). He's got a strong and accurate arm and he is hitting well. Just not any HRs yet...but you know they will come.

I'm loving me some Kemp right now. Leading by example with his hard work. Maybe I'm wrong about that but I do see Kemp as a leader here. I can't say enough good things about Matt Kemp. I'm loving that trade right now as we're getting Kemp for something like $2 mil this season as well. Huge bargain. Fun player to watch too.

He is defiantly playing hard. Like I noted in another thread. He could have easily glided into second on his triple yesterday, instead he pushed it which was nice to see. Norris, is doing the same thing on the base paths... Running hard and taking extra bases is H U G E...

He played that smart. He let the RFer think he was stopping at second but showed some burst in taking off for 3Base. He definitely has speed.

They were talking about Trumbo (the right fielder who butchered that fly ball) and how they tried him everywhere and settled on RF because they figured he could do the least amount of damage there.

AZ has a lot of hitting talent. Inciarte NEEDS to be starting for them every game IMO. Period. Inciarte is great defensively and has shown to be a very tough out so far this season...along with good speed. I thank Chip Hale for keeping him out of the starting line up tonight.

And they also have Tomas in the minor leagues!

Horrible performance tonight. Left the bases loaded down 4-1 in the 6th and with two men in in the 9th down 4-2 he grounds weakly to the pitcher. How long before he hits the bench?
