Once El Tri started to lose, I stopped minding whether the USMNT would win or not. Shame that Panama couldn't seal the deal, but you have fringe players trying to make the team for Brazil, and they didn't quit after regulation time. Mexico got a gift from their biggest rivals, using a 'B' team, "de nada", and probably don't deserve the play-in chance, but they back in because of all those draws. The Mexican announcers were hilarious, saying "USA, USA, Gracias Obama", the first time the USA tied it up, and were in despair when Panama went ahead. A totally shocking three minutes in real time.
