I'm in favor of him going on the DL. I've heard he's had calf, knee, and biceps issues the last month. Seems like an extended vacation would do him good for the rest of his season.

Kinda looking forward to what Jace Peterson can do... He has done nothing but hit while a professional. Amarista although another nice player and terrific utility guy (Who isn't in our organization) is not a 3rd baseman nor should he play one on TV. The bonus with Jace is that he can run a bit too. Although he is only 4-7 this season.

Oh yeah. Looking forward to seeing what Jace can do. Pretty athletic player from what I've read. I guess Ryan Jackson would have been the call-up for Headley but he's also hurt and not expected back in a week or two.
