Ummm....didn't we just knock them off a couple of weeks ago, in a much more convincing way???
I could not care less. The media talking heads and power polls etc. don't win games. They don't affect playoff seeding. I get my validation of the State of the Bolts very week by the performance on the field. The rest don't mean shit.

People kind of discount some early wins/losses because time has past. If we can beat the Broncos in Denver, they will be washing Rivers' balls all over ESPN
But, if we lose they will be all enamored with the Broncos and "The Great Peyton Manning", moreso than any love they will give the Chargers if they win.

Yup. I'm really surprised that the posters here are acting like our victory was on a par with what the Cowboys did in SEATTLE. I have no love for the Cowboys, but they get my vote (if I had one ) for #1 in the Power Rankings. In fact, I would actually downgrade the Bolts after their squeaker over the lowly Raiders last Sunday.

The Cowboys deserve all the accolades they're getting, IMO.

Bolts were media darlings for a short while starting in mid to late 2004 to maybe 2007, and other teams/fans got so sick of it that they just say how we haven't won shit.

Uh. Dallas gets downgraded in my book. The only accolades they deserve are to be showered in partially-frozen logs of maggots and sweat peeled by the teeth of a shit-eating dog from the third nut of a fat, hairy retired pornstar on kilometer 12 of a marathon in a swamp filled with Raiders fans and herpes.

Other than North Dallas 40 and Tom Landry's hat and cheerleaders and the 99-yard Tony Dorsett run and the time Drew Pearson introduced himself to me while handing over a Chargers AFC Championship cap, there is nothing good about the Cowboys. They are my least favorite NFC team.

Shocking! This coming from the guy that said we had 0 chance to beat Seattle in the first place.

IMO, impressive wins can leapfrog teams over others.....but actually downgrading a team after a WIN is ridiculous.
Again, it is just hypothetical media BS that has no bearing on outcomes and standings. Fun exercise and good for fans to debate, but otherwise worthless.

It's all about what have you done for me lately. Just gotta keep winning games and hopefully not lose players in the process anymore. Everything else will take care of itself.
